The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced the schedule for the Australia Tour of Sri Lanka 2025 on 01 November 2024. The Australian national team will play against Sri Lanka in two test match series and one ODI match.
The Australian national team will arrive in Sri Lanka on 20 January 2025. In the January – February 2025 Australian Tour of Sri Lanka, the first test match will begin on 29th Jan 2025 till 2nd Feb 2025 followed by the second test from 6th Feb 2025 till 10th Feb 2025. The Test series and ODI game will be held between 29th Jan – 13th Feb 2025.
The test series between Australia and Sri Lanka will be a part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship series 2023-2025 where Australia stands in second place with 62.5 points percentage and Sri Lanka stands in third place with 55.56 points percentage.
