Costco Baby Wipes Class Action Lawsuit

A settlement exists for individuals who bought Kirkland Signature-branded flushable wipes from Costco. However, this settlement specifically applies to those who made purchases in New York between 2011 and 2017.

The class-action lawsuit alleges that Costco inaccurately labelled and marketed these wipes as “flushable” and safe for sewer and septic systems. The plaintiff claims that the wipes caused damage to plumbing pipes, septic systems, sewage lines, and pumps.

Costco disputes these allegations and maintains that the wipes perform as advertised. Eligible individuals who bought the wipes in New York during the specified period may receive compensation. The settlement website specifies that all claims must be submitted by August 9, 2024.
