The Maharashtra government has initiated the Ladki Bahin Scheme this year to empower women of the state and strengthen their role in the household. Under the scheme, the government offers monthly financial assistance to all the eligible beneficiaries.
The authority has processed the October and November payments in October 2024 ahead of Diwali. Now, the beneficiaries are speculating about the December payment as the state election just ended. Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Scheme List
The NDA government which started the Mukhya Mantri Ladki Bahin Yojana in July 2024 has won the election with a majority. Beneficiaries who applied for the Ladki Bahin Yojana waiting for the next payment first need to ensure their name is on the beneficiary list to know whether they will receive the payment or not.
According to reports 2.34 crore applications were pending due to Aadhar seeding with bank accounts. The officials have confirmed some beneficiary payment was made in Nov payment whereas the 13 lakh applicants’ application names will be added to the December list.

- Visit the official portal of the Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Scheme at https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in/
- Next, click the applicant login and enter your registered mobile number and password with the given captcha to log in.
- In the applicant’s dashboard, you can find the Selected applicants list to check the approved applicants list.
Generally, the beneficiary will receive the SMS on their approved Ladki Bahin Yojana application or you can also visit the municipal corporation website to check the beneficiaries list.
When can you expect the December installment of Maharashtra Ladki Bahin?
According to the reports, 34 lakh eligible sisters received the October and November payment in October 2024. The Ladki Bahin Yojana is one of the major schemes of the NDA government, now with their victory beneficiaries await the next installment date.
The newly formed Maharashtra government will soon declare the next Chief Minister and after the swearing-in ceremony of the new Minister and other ministers, the beneficiaries can expect the December payment date announcement. The next CM oath ceremony will be held on 02 Dec 2024, so, wait until next week for the pay date announcement.

What makes you eligible for the Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Scheme?
The women of the state who meet the following eligibility requirements can apply and receive support through the Ladki Bahin Yojana:
- You must be a Maharashtra resident living in the state.
- You can be married, divorced, abandoned, unmarried, and destitute women in the State.
- You should have attained the minimum age of 21 years or age between 21 and 65 years.
- Your family’s annual income should not be above the income limit of ₹2.5 lakhs.
- You must have a bank account linked with Aadhar.
Exclusion:
- If your family member is a taxpayer, you will be excluded from the scheme.
- If any of your family members are working as regular or permanent employees of the central/ state or get pensions after retirement you will be excluded from the scheme.
- If your family member is a former or current MLA/ MP or Chairman/ Director/ Board Member/ VC/ of any State or Central government office or corporation, you cannot apply for the scheme.
- If any of your family members have the 4-wheeler vehicle registered in their name except a tractor, you are excluded from the scheme.
Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Scheme Benefit
Under the Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Yojana, the government offers monthly financial assistance of ₹1500 for eligible women. The payout will be directly deposited to the beneficiaries’ Aadhar-linked bank account through DBT.
With financial assistance, the government intends to empower women and give them better opportunities, health, nutrition, and education to pursue their dreams. According to reports, the NDA government can increase the amount in the coming year after winning the election with a majority.
The government has allocated ₹35,000 crores to the previous installments, so if the government increases the allocation, the beneficiaries can expect more in the coming year.
