On 26 April 2024, the chairman of VGC was found unconscious in his car parked in the Ajah area of VGC. According to reports, locals discovered him in his car, when his car was on for a long time as people wondered who would keep the motor running for such a long time.
When people checked the car they thought he was sleeping and tried to wake him up but when nothing worked, they informed the police and he was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where the attending doctors declared him dead.
According to locals, he usually comes to his property in VGC estate from his mansion around the Ikoyi where he lives with his family to greet friends and look over the estate.Â
His remains were sent for probe to find the cause of death. His mysterious death has been under investigation, the Lagos State Police Command is looking into the matter. For now, his reason for death is not revealed yet.Â
