On March 4, 2024, the SSC released a notification for hiring 4187 Sub-Inspectors for Delhi Police and CAPFs. From March 4 to March 28, 2024, prospective applicants may submit an online application.

To apply for SSC CPO Recruitment 2024, the candidate needs to follow the below step-by-step instructions:

• On the homepage, look for and click the link to the SSC CPO Online application form.
• To create your registration ID and password, finish the registration procedure by providing your contact information and basic facts.

SSC CPO Application Fee 2024

For general and OBC category applicants, the SSC CPO application cost for 2024 is Rs. 100; however, women, SC, ST, ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates are not required to pay any cost. The deadline for paying the fee is March 28, 2024, and it may be done online or offline using SBI Challan.

SSC CPO Selection Process 2024

The SSC CPO Recruitment Selection Process 2024 will consist of the following stages:

• Paper 1 – Written Exam
• Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET)
• Paper 2 – Written exam
• Medical Examination

SSC CPO Exam Date & Pattern 2024

The SSC CPO 2024 exam is a golden opportunity for candidates who aspire to join the police forces of India. The candidates should also prepare well for the exam by practising mock tests, solving previous year’s papers, and revising the syllabus. 

The SSC CPO Paper 1 2024 exam will be held on the 9th, 10th, and 13th May 2024. Four elements will make up the 200-mark computer-based exam: English comprehension, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge and awareness, and general intelligence and reasoning.

Each section will have 50 questions of 1 mark each, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong entry.

SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria 2024

The SSC CPO Eligibility 2024 is based on two factors: age limit, and educational qualification. 

Age Limit 

• Candidates must be between 20 and 25 years of age as on 1st January 2024. 

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Male candidates for the Delhi Police Sub-Inspector position must also hold a valid driver’s licence for both cars and motorcycles as of the day of the physical endurance and measurement tests.

Apart from these factors, candidates must also meet the physical standards and tests as prescribed by the SSC for the SSC CPO exam. These include height, chest, weight, eye-sight, and physical endurance tests such as running, jumping, and shot put.
