The PM Kisan Scheme provides income support to the farmer. The Government of India released the list of the PM Kisan beneficiary at pmkisan.gov.in/. One may visit PM Kisan’s webportal and provide required details to check the beneficiary list.

PM Kisan Beneficiary Status

The Government publishes the list of the PM Kisan beneficiaries on the official PM Kisan portal. After farmers have registered on the portal they can view their PM Kisan status. By injecting funds directly into the rural economy, they also positively impact rural consumption and economic activity. 

The PM Kisan scheme income support is Rs. 6,000 per year is given to all the farmer families that have cultivable land in their name, irrespective of the size of their landholdings. The amount of Rs. 6,000 is given in three instalments every year:

If the amount of 2,000 has not been received in your account of  the 16th instalment you can do some work like you should first check your name in the beneficiary list and Also check the documents you filled in with information like your bank account details etc. are correct or not. 

Steps to check the Beneficiary List for PM Kisan

Steps to check the Beneficiary List for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi yojna are available below. 

  • First open your web browser and go to the official PM Kisan website’s homepage and click on the Farmer Corner section.
  • Then you will see the various types of options and links on the website homepage then click on this option for the process.
  • Then click to the labelled Beneficiary Status.
  • Enter your Aadhar card number on the Beneficiary status page.
  • Enter your bank account number.
  • After entering all the required information you have to click the Get Data button for initiate the search for your PM Kisan Beneficiary status.
  • The system will proceed with your request and when your details are found in the PM Kisan database than your beneficiary status will be displayed on the screen.
  • You can see your name is listed as a beneficiary and the payment status.
  • After that you can check if you have received any instalments.
  • If you checked your beneficiary status and payment details then you have to log out of your account securely especially if you are using a public computer. 

Who is eligible for the PM Kisan Scheme?

The eligible criteria is the most important aspect of any government scheme. Only those farmer families who can qualify these criterias can able to the benefits of this scheme:

  • Farmers from the age of 18 years to 40 years are eligible to join this scheme. 
  • The farmers will have to contribute the amount between Rs. 55 to Rs. 200 as per month from the pension fund till they reach the age of 60 years. 
  • The small and marginal farmers are eligible for the PM Kisan scheme.
  • Those farmer families that own cultivable land can apply for the benefits of the PM Kisan scheme.
  • The farmer should be an Indian citizen.
  • Current and the former holder of the constitution. 
  • Retired pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs. 10,000 or more. 
  • In the PM Kisan scheme farmers from both rural and urban areas can register themselves. 
  • The land ownership should be either sole or joint with spouse, father, mother and  unmarried  children.
  • For the Registration you have these documents: Aadhar card, Proof of citizenship, documents showing ownership of land and details of the bank account. 

KYC for PM Kisan

The government has made e-KYC mandatory for the farmers registered under the PM Kisan to obtain their instalments under this scheme. The farmers can also do e-KYC by going to your nearest CSC centres for the Biometric authentication. 

The government had allowed farmers to do Aadhar based e-KYC through OTP authentication on the PM Kisan portal is as follows:

  • First visit the PM Kisan official website. 
  • Scroll down to the Farmer Corner and then click on the e-KYC option.
  • Then enter the Aadhar number and click on the search button.
  • Then OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number on your phone.
  • Enter the OTP and click on the Submit button for the process.
  • Your e-KYC process will be done.

How to register for the PM Kisan 

People who meet the eligibility criteria register themselves as beneficiaries of the PM Kisan. There are steps by step process of the registration of PM Kisan 2024 as follows:

  • PM Kisan nodal officers are nominated by the respective state governments, applicants can reach them to register themselves for this scheme.
  • Those farmers who are eligible can approach local revenue officers or patwaris to register themselves.
  • The CSC can also register the eligible farmer after a free payment.
  • People can also register themselves online by the official website of PM Kisan.
  • To register on the webportal people need to visit the office website and then open the farmer’s corner section then click on the tab called New Farmer Registration. 
  • Self registered farmers can check their PM Kisan application status on the status of self registered CSC farmers. 
  • You have to submit your documents like Aadhar card, domicile certificate, ownership of land and bank account details. 
  • Scanned copies of all documents have to be uploaded in the case of the online registration. 
  • Also you can register your PM Kisan by the e-mitra.
