CTET July 2024 Notification
The CTET July 2024 notification is out on 7 March 2024, and the candidates can fill out the form on the official website of CTET from 7 March 2024 to 2 April 2024. The mode of the application is online only.
According to the notification, the CTET examination will commence on 7 July 2024.
The CTET July test will take place in 136 cities all over India in 20 languages. The CTET examinations are held every year for the appointments of teaching staff in government schools and passed candidates can also apply for private schools.

Eligibility of the CTET July 2024
Interested candidates must check the following eligibility criteria to apply for the CTET July examinations as per the notice:
Age Limit:
- There is no upper age limit, the applicants must be over 18 years of age.
Education Qualification:
- For Paper 1 (Class I to V):
- The candidates aiming for Paper I must have passed the 12th examination with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Candidates aiming for Paper I need to possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
- For Paper 2 (Class VI to VIII):
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
- The applicant who has appeared or passed the B.Ed program with 50% marks.
Application Fee of CTET July 2024
The application fee for the CTET July 2024 based on category and the number of papers is given below:

Once the fee is submitted, there is no refund under any circumstances, so make sure you fill out your application form carefully.
Exam Pattern of CTET July 2024
The examination for the CTET will be held on 7 July 2024. The paper will have multiple-choice questions. With one correct answer, the candidates will earn 1 mark, and there is no negative marking.
The CBSE will conduct two Paper respective to the class:
- Paper I for candidates who intend to be a teacher for Class I to V.
- Paper II for candidates who want to teach Class VI to VIII.
Candidates can appear for both the Papers I and II.

Application Process for the CTET July 2024
The eligible candidates can apply for the CTET July 2024 in the following steps:
- Go to the official website of the CTET given above.
- Scroll down to Candidate activity and click on “Apply for CTET July 2024.”
- On the next page, click on the left-hand side button of “New Registration.”
- Read the instructions carefully, check the last checkbox of the declaration that you have downloaded the information bulletin, and click the “click to proceed.”
- Now, enter all your details asked on the new page, choose a password, and submit the pin.
- Now, you will have your application number generated by the system.
- Now, move on to the application form and log in to your registered account with your password, security pin, and application number.
- Now, fill out the application form and upload the scanned photo and signatures as per the instructions given in the bulletin.
- Pay the application fee and complete your application process for the CTET in July 2024.
- Make sure you download the complete application hard copy at last.
