Guardian Games is scheduled to arrive at Destiny 2 on March 5, 2024, according to a recent TWID. The event’s conclusion date is set for March 26, 2024, and it will last for hardly three weeks.

The Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2024 is a special event that pits the three classes of Guardians against each other in a friendly competition. The event will start on March 5, 2024, at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM GMT and will end on March 26, 2024, at the same time. The event will feature new challenges, rewards, and a hoverboard called the Skimmer. 

You can participate in the event by choosing your class and completing Event Card challenges to earn medallions and other prizes. The class with the most medallions at the end of the event will be crowned the Guardian Games All-Stars champion.

Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2024 will introduce some new weapons and changes to existing ones. Some of the weapons that will be available during the event are:

  • Hullabaloo Arc Compressed Wave Frame Heavy Grenade Launcher: This is a new Exotic weapon that fires explosive projectiles that bounce off surfaces and detonate on impact.
  • Guardian Games Ops Weapons: These are previous Guardian Games weapons with updated perk pools, such as the Class Act Auto Rifle, the Gold Medal Scout Rifle, and the Victory Lap Hand Cannon.
  • Mementos: These are cosmetic items that let you customise the appearance of your weapons, such as adding glows, stickers, or engravings.
  • Heavy Burst Hand Cannons: These will have increased damage and stability, but reduced range and reload speed.
  • Bows: These will have reduced draw time and increased accuracy, but lower damage and aim assist.
  • Auto Rifles: These will have reduced recoil and increased magazine size, but lower damage and range.
  • Lightweight Scout Rifles: These will have increased damage and range, but reduced stability and handling.
  • Sniper Rifles: These will have increased zoom and flinch, but reduced aim assist and reload speed.

The Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2024 Armor is a set of ornaments that you can use to customise the appearance of your gear. The ornaments are based on the theme of the Guardian Games, which is a friendly competition between the three classes of Guardians: Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks. 

The ornaments are available for purchase at the Eververse store with either Silver or Bright Dust. Each set costs 6,000 Bright Dust or 1,500 Silver. Here are some previews of the ornaments for each class:

  • Titan: The Titan ornament features a helmet with a mohawk, a chest piece with a lion emblem, and a cape with a Guardian Games logo. The ornament has a metallic and angular design, with gold and silver accents.
  • Hunter: The Hunter ornament features a helmet with a visor, a chest piece with a snake emblem, and a cloak with a Guardian Games logo. The ornament has a sleek and futuristic design, with green and black colours.
  • Warlock: The Warlock ornament features a helmet with a crown, a chest piece with a phoenix emblem, and a bond with a Guardian Games logo. The ornament has a regal and elegant design, with purple, white, and more.

The Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2024 rewards include a new form of vehicle called a Skimmer, which is a hoverboard that can glide over any terrain. You can also get the new Hullabaloo Arc Compressed Wave Frame Heavy Grenade Launcher, which fires explosive projectiles that bounce off surfaces and detonate on impact. 

Additionally, you can earn Mementos, which are cosmetic items that let you customise the appearance of your weapons. You can also get previous Guardian Games weapons with updated perk pools. 

To get these rewards, you need to participate in the event by completing Event Card challenges and depositing Medallions for your class. The main focus of Guardian Games is class conflict.
