How many players will be allowed in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction?

There is no limit for the amount of players listed at the IPL auction, with the number differing most years. The amount of players listed is dependent on who signs up and provided the players have been approved by their countries.

As per the IPL chairman Dhumal, each team will  have the opportunity to retain only 3 or 4 players like in the IPL 2022 mega auction, which saw a total of 204 players being sold for a Rs. 551 crore.
