Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2024
The farmers suffered huge losses due to natural calamities and faced many financial problems. The Bihar government launched the scheme Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayta Yojana to solve this problem of the farmers.Â
Under this initiative, the state government will provide financial assistance to the farmers who suffered loss due to their crop damage in any natural calamities.Â
The government aims to empower the farmers, make them self-reliant, and cover their losses due to crop damage.Â
Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of up to ₹7500 per hectare of loss up to 20% of the actual yield rate of farmers and ₹10,000 per hectare for a loss of more than 20% of the annual yield rate.
The application mode for the scheme is online and open to apply for eligible farmers.
The last date to apply for the Bihar State Crops Assistance Scheme is 31 March 2024.

Eligibility Criteria of Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2024
Under the Bihar government initiative, the following farmers will qualify to receive the benefits of Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2024:
- The applicant farmer should be a permanent resident of Bihar.
- The applicants whose crops have been damaged by the natural calamity and weather can apply for the scheme.Â
- The farmers from the ryot category or partially non-ryot category who have maintained and verified under the PM-KISAN scheme by the Bihar Agriculture Department can apply for the Bihar State Crop Assistant Scheme.
- The farmers of Nagar Panchayat/ City Council area can also avail the benefits of the scheme.
Documents Required for the Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2024
During the application, the farmers are required to present the information of crop and sowing area. The eligible farmers would need the following documents in hand to apply for the Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2024:
Ryot category:
- Land Ownership certificate effective as of 31 March 2022.
- 2023 Revenue Receipt
- Self-declaration
Non-Ryot Category
- Self-declaration (by Ward member)
Both Ryot and Non-Ryot Category:

- Through calling a toll-free number 1800-1800-110 of the scheme.
- By receiving help from the block cooperative Extension officer/ Executive Assistant.
Important Note:Â
- The applicants can apply for more than one crop under the Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojana 2024.
- Under the scheme, a financial assistance amount is available for a maximum of 2 hectares per farmer.Â
