The second edition of the Legends Cricket Trophy 2024 (LCT) will take place from March 8–19, 2024, so cricket lovers should brace themselves for a trip down memory lane. The Pallekele International Cricket Stadium will host every match.
Legends Cricket Trophy 2024
Commencing on March 8, the second edition of the LCT will see the return of the game’s former superstars. The competition in Sri Lanka will continue till March 19. Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka, will host all of the games. In all, twenty-two games in the 90-ball format will be played.
This season, seven teams will compete in the event. Colombo Lions, Dubai Giants, Kandy Samp Army, New York Superstar Strikers, Delhi Devils, Rajasthan Kings, and Punjab Royals are the teams who will be competing.

The LCT this year features seven all-new teams: the Delhi Devils, the Rajasthan Kings, the Kandy Samp Army, the New York Superstar Strikers, the Punjab Royals, and the Colombo Lions. For a total of 22 matches, these teams will play one round-robin format in which they will face each other once.
Format of LCT 2024
The tournament will be spiced up with a spectacular 90-ball format for the LCT 2024. With a more compact and tactical setting, this shortened format promises action-packed cricket that will keep fans on the edge of their seats as famous players display their skills.
